Malta The Nissan Qashqai chosen as the official security vehicle for the Summit of the Southern EU Countries in Malta

During the penultimate weekend this June, leaders from Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, and Spain met in Malta for the Southern EU Countries Summit, hosted by Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

The seven EU countries formed an alliance under the name ‘EUMed7’, in Brussels on 17 December 2013 to address issues of common interest in the Mediterranean.

Nissan Malta supplied the fleet of Qashqais used as the official security vehicle at the Summit.

The Nissan Qashqais were driven by the Malta Police Force and joined a convoy of vehicles that transported the EU Leaders, together with Malta's Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.
